吴跃进:

主要从事辐射生物学机理及其应用,主要研究方向是:植物辐射生物学和突变体创建、种子衰老生物学。围绕离子束辐照创建突变体,发现水稻显性半矮秆新基因,对其显性矮秆基因进行了分子标记和定位。另外发现水稻中存在影响稻谷储藏特性的重要基因(Lox),该基因对延缓稻谷陈化变质、延长稻种寿命、降低仓储害虫危害等方面具有重要作用,对该基因进行了定位克隆,揭示了水稻长寿基因的机理。
